The NIXUS ERA (Efficient Roof Angle) is the only modular inflatable tent with angled support beams allowing more vertical sidewalls. This gives greater internal space efficiency making the tent ideal for military or emergency/humanitarian relief accommodation or office applications.
There are two versions of the ERA. The 200 cm beam spacing version is a heavy duty tent primarily intended for accommodation purposes, while the 250cm beam spacing version is designed for fast deployment and wherever lower weight and transport volume is important. There are also different types of outer fabric weighing from 650g/m2 down to 250g/m2.
The strength and stability under load of NIXUS ERA tents is due to the structure being made of heavy duty, seamless pneumatic tubes of 6’’ diameter with a working pressure of between 4 and 8 bar. The use of high pressure tubes makes the tent structure rigid and stable, as well as resistant to strong wind and snow loads.
Another advantage of the use of high pressure tubes is their resistance to ambient temperature fluctuations so there is no necessity for permanent pressure control or air refill. The minimum (collapse) pressure of the tent is just 1.5 bar so with such a wide working pressure range ERA tents are the first choice for use in the harshest conditions, from extreme cold areas to desert and tropical heats.
The NIXUS ERA military or emergency/humanitarian relief tent is made in a bicolor mode with a grey color inside and olive green or sand color outside. Each tent is packed in a strong PVC waterproof bag with a repair kit included.

NIXUS ERA SI
The ERA SI uses horizontal high pressure inflatable beams as tensioning elements. These can also be used to space the sun shade cover away from the tent surface.
NIXUS ERA ST
The ERA ST uses horizontal aluminium struts in place of inflatable beams as tensioning elements. These are installed from inside the tent after inflation.
NIXUS ERA SH
The ERA SH uses a combination of high pressure inflatable beams and aluminium struts as horizontal tensioning elements.
